CBD Biscuits & Oils Ingedients

What is the purpose of the other ingredients?

When I first started baking biscuits I tried everything, I wanted the biscuits to be flavorful and have purpose. For thousands of years humans have added botanicals and herbs to their  foods for both flavor and to treat ailments. Many of them have similar benefits for our furry friends. I found I wanted three key ingredients: Oatmeal, coconut oil and turmeric.   I added oatmeal because its naturally high in good nutrients benefiting the skin, nervous system, and stomach.  In addition, oats are considered a nervine, an herbal compound that acts as a general “nerve tonic,” calming the nerves when necessary and stimulating their activity when needed.  Coconut oil was added because it aids in skin conditions, digestion, and can aid the immune system, metabolic function and bone health. And finally, turmeric was added because much like HEMP it in itself is a nutritional superstar!  It’s one of the most potent natural anti-inflammatories available, as well as a detoxifier, allergy reliever, helpful in treating depression (yep, dogs can get depressed too), kills parasites….the list goes on and on.  Our oils were created much in the same way....good wholesome ingredients jam packed full of nutrients.

How are they made?

Everything we make is free from artificial colors, flavors, and  preservatives.  Our recipes are also free from soy and bulking agents and contain no gluten, dairy or eggs.

Our small batches are handmade and slow-baked. Every batch goes out to an independent lab for quality testing and to ensure the CBD levels are accurate.
